History of Poppek Law Firm
Founded in 1984 in Düsseldorf by attorney-at-law Reinhold Poppek as a law firm specializing in commercial law, the firm initially focused its legal services on German mid-sized entrepreneurs and companies.
In 1991, Reinhold Poppek internationalized his field of practice by co-founding the Association of Independent European Lawyers (AIEL), www.aiel.com. Through this international network of attorneys, Poppek Law Firm was able to provide qualified legal support to German and foreign companies across multiple jurisdictions.
In the following years, Poppek Law Firm advised and represented companies from Europe, Taiwan, Russia, India, Turkey, and China.
Lawyer Reinhold Poppek acted as an advisor to domestic and foreign governmental institutions.
In 2005, a consulting company was established in Shanghai.
